In my Illustration 5 class this semester we are given a lot of freedom. Our professional professor basically said to do the type of art you want to do for life and focus on a specific market. Mine? The thing I’m most passionate about besides my religion? Is Fantasy! I love using my imagination and telling stories with it! So the projects for this class are geared towards younger readers who enjoy fantasy too, and I’m trying to use more ink and photoshop elements. My first project was the dragon dying one and this is my second and third.
The prompt for this one was to create an animal out of some sort of object. This is my Japanese Fox (kitsune) made of leaves that acts like the wind.
This is a dream I had right as I was finishing up my last project. If you can’t decide if it’s playful or creepy then you’re spot on (because I couldn’t decide when I was dreaming it either!)
